Since launching their first education program in 2003, our client’s organization and programs have changed considerably. Firstly, they were named Reading and Math, Inc. when we began working with them. That name became a bit confusing as we worked on their program recruitment for Reading Corps, Math Corps, and Recovery Corps. Connecting the dots between Reading and Math, Inc. to Recovery Corps was cumbersome and took focus away from the critical messages – like the work they do!

With a new name, Ampact was ready for a rebrand. Rebranding helped us align the organization with where it could go in the future. Currently, this group has 200 employees in several states throughout the country that supports more than 2,000 AmeriCorps members. Our rebrand helps connect all of their efforts to create a bigger impact.

The rebrand connects Ampact to all programs starting with the logo. By modifying our Ampact “A” we create a forward-focused arrow. The arrow and wordmark treatment is shared throughout our family of programs with the logos focusing on the name of the program. As Ampact grows, the brand guide outlines a path to scale its brand family. Our logo system follows a defined approach outlined in the brand guide.

As part of the rebranding efforts, CC delivered a comprehensive brand guide, social assets, websites, launch video for internal teams, interior brand graphics, identity materials, and more.

Reading Corps has an incredible history and a tremendous amount of passion for the effort. Our goal is to elevate the Ampact brand to provide credit to the organization behind Reading Corps, and all the other programs that they manage. With a more recognizable brand, Ampact will have a stronger, more consistent story that will help them with recruitment and funding.
